If you could give our members one piece of advice on Recruiting, Retention or Agent Productivity, what would it be?

Do it daily, do it early and do it first.

If you don't do it first, it's not going to happen. If you don't do it early, you won't catch them. If you don't do it daily, you'll get behind.

What it takes to get an agent is what it takes to keep them, so recruiting and retention go hand in hand. Anybody that's looking to build their business should focus on both equally. Always just keep in mind that the reason you recruit agents is because their broker is not paying enough attention to them or not giving them the recognition that they deserve.

So, when you just focus on recruiting without retention, you'll have a constant revolving door. Start early with your recruiting and then once all that's done, do the same thing internally with your own agents so that you have retention as well. That's how you build and move forward.
