 | If you could give our members one piece of advice on Recruiting, Retention or Agent Productivity, what would it be?
| | From a broker/manager standpoint, the one thing that can be implemented today is hiring a coach. Thats no plug specifically for Judy, although shes great. Carol is also an excellent resource. Use whomever you have a fit with culturally.
There is a science to recruiting, and I think what happens is as you transfer from that entrepreneurial broker/owner thats growing an office, you have to recognize that you arent the only one who can do it. There are people who can sell your company and, in many instances, do a better job than you can. Surround yourself. Put the right people in place and give them a coach to provide that accountability and support for when they do get discouraged and when theyre not getting interviews. Its invaluable, because it allows us to focus on how were going to get more agents instead of the minutia that goes along with that. |
