| | If you could give our members one piece of advice on Recruiting, Retention or Agent Productivity, what would it be?
| | In a market like this, there are greater opportunities than in any other market. There's so much uncertainty. Just keep your head down, and look for the opportunities. I posted a video blog last week that spoke to this. A lot of people are writing and talking about people's misfortunes. In some ways, it makes us feel better that we see it's not just us, it's everybody right now.
My advice is to put your head down, talk to people, bring them in, and keep a positive attitude. We've been through these cycles before, and we're going to be through them again in our real estate lifetime. It's just that'a cycle. And the recruiting opportunities are probably the best they've been in many, many years. You don't have to use technology. The best sales tool still is the telephone.

My answer would be to just continue to be persistent. Set aside enough time each day in your job as manager to recruit and be persistent. That has paid off for me time and time again as a manager when I was recruiting agents. It takes time to bring experienced agents in. Just dont give up. |
