There are five obstacles of marketing and recruiting that recruiters must overcome in order to be successful. Recruiters must do the following:

1. Establish credibility.
2. Get their message heard.
3. Separate themselves from the competition.
4. Position themselves to be the obvious choice.
5. Present a package that creates a great first impression, leaves a lasting impression and has a long shelf life.
