Celebrate May as Military Appreciation Month!

Dear Members,
The next few weeks present the perfect opportunity to honor the members of your staff who have served in the armed services, and to also thank those who are presently serving our country.
May is National Military Appreciation Month. A Million Thanks, founded by high school senior Shauna Fleming, is encouraging businesses and homeowners to display their flags and to write personal notes to service personnel. The whole movement is a tribute to what one person with a passion can achieve.
Here are some recruiting and agent appreciation activities that you might implement on Memorial Day, Flag Day (June 14) and the 4th of July.
Prepare greeting cards with a cover that says, �A Million Thanks from Your Friends at XYZ Realty � and others that say "... from your friends in Our Town or subdivision.�
Have a call night and invite past clients, recruits, neighbors, and prospects in for a free flag or to write letters for one hour.
Have a contest and reward the agent or neighborhood generating the most thank you letters. Play patriotic music, serve apple pie, and set a goal for the number of letters you can generate.
